Puppets are not only a great way to be silly and have fun, they can also help children talk about emotions, manage conflict, and build literacy skills!
Join Lily Gershon of Lilypad Puppet Theatre to learn about the social emotional benefits of engaging in puppet play with young children, and pick up some useful tips and tricks to get started using puppets with your children at home. Your child will enjoy a puppet storytime during the workshop, and afterwards, kids and parents will each make their very own puppets to take home! This workshop will be held in the Lansing Community Center, located at 29 Auburn Road, on Saturday, October 15th, beginning at 11 am. Questions? Email racheln@lansinglibrary.org.
