Tween Book Club – Take and Make
Welcome to the first month of our new Tween Book Club series! The club will feature a variety of titles to appeal to readers of different interests around the ages of 9-12. Along with a copy of each month’s book, the Library will also provide fun materials and projects related to the book.

Framed! by James Ponti is a mystery featuring Florian Bates, a seventh grader who teams up with his best friend Margaret to find the thief who has stolen several Impressionist paintings from the National Gallery of Art. It’s the first book in a trilogy that is faced-paced and exciting.
This month’s project features all things art and creativity. Each book club kit will include:
- a bookmark featuring impressionist art
- coloring pages of famous artwork
- colored pencils
- a sketchbook to fill with thoughts and/or artwork, and
- materials to make a no-sew t-shirt bag to hold all your new materials.
