VOTERS APPROVE LANSING COMMUNITY LIBRARY TAX LEVY INCREASE, ELECT THREE TRUSTEES
Based on the outcome of the April 26, 2022 vote, the Lansing Community Library’s 2023 budget
will be increased by $13,949, raising the total amount the community is taxed for the library from $221,040 to $234,989.
Three Trustees were elected for three-year terms, beginning June 1, 2022
The tax levy increase was approved 69 votes in favor, one opposed.
Trustees Elizabeth Gossett and Maureen Trowbridge were re-elected for a second term.
Also elected was Trustee Bruce Barber, who served as an appointed Trustee since Oct. 2020 to fill a Board vacancy.
