Our upcoming vote is approaching—and we need you! Join us at the Lansing Community Library for our Annual Trustees Meeting on Monday, April 20. Then, be sure to return on Tuesday, April 21 to cast your vote on the library budget and our new board candidates.

Your support matters. The library is a true community hub—welcoming people of all ages to learn, connect, and grow. From early literacy to lifelong learning, it’s a space where everyone belongs. Libraries do more than build community—they are the community. By providing access to essential resources and information, they support education and literacy while serving as a vital gathering place for all.

If you are unable to vote in person, absentee/early voting ballots will be available for pickup at the Library starting April 3. Completed ballots can be returned via mail, dropped off in the locked book return, or returned to the circulation desk during open hours.

When using an absentee ballot to cast your vote, the envelope must be received no later than the close of polls on Election Day if hand delivered; or be post marked no later than the day BEFORE Election Day and received no later than seven days following Election Day in order to be cast and counted.
