This month we will read Oliver and the Sea Monkeys by Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre. From the publisher:

Project
Every year, the Rambling Isles all gather together for a Night of Seawigs, where each island wears a wig made of all the treasures it has gathered on its travels. For this project, you get to choose what treasures to include in your seawig!
This month’s kit includes:
- Seawig template & decorations
- Copy of Oliver and the Sea Monkeys (yours to keep)
Additional materials needed:
- Materials to color with (crayons, markers, paint, etc.) (optional)
- Scissors
- Tape or glue
