This year, the Lansing Community Library is proud to spotlight Ben’s Place for New York State’s The Great Give Back. Community members are invited to donate items, gift cards, or shop from their Amazon wish list to support the wonderful work happening right here in Lansing.
Ben’s Place
Located right here in Lansing, NY, Ben’s Place is a fantastic local organization providing a forever home for senior and hard-to-place dogs. Here, there are no cages or kennels—just soft beds, open space, and the joy of living as a family pack. Each dog receives veterinary care, good food, treats, and, most importantly, endless love. Founded in honor of Ben, the namesake dog, Ben’s Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving these pups the best life possible.

Donations can also be dropped off at the Lansing Community Library from October 18- 25.
