Dump Your Brain On Paper: Journaling and Art as Self-Expression for Tweens and Teens
Calling all teens and tweens! The Lansing Community Library is hosting the program “Dump Your Brain On Paper: Journaling and Art as Self-Expression for Tweens and Teens” with Lydia Dolch, Empowerment Coach from Open the Lid, on Monday, November 7th from 3:30pm – 5:30pm. Lydia will show you how to use journaling and art as tools to enable you to better manage your thoughts and your feelings – because life is overwhelming sometimes. Come to the Library for a chance to mess around with some art materials and try out a few journaling techniques. You don’t have to be an artist or a writer to get something out of this low-key workshop. All materials will be supplied. Just come as yourself. No judgment here. If you can’t quite stay until the end, come anyway! Get permission to ride a school bus to the library if you are a Lansing student. All teens and tweens are welcome – just make sure you’re picked up by 6:00pm because that’s when the library closes! Questions? Email info@lansinglibrary.org.
