Announcement: New Chair Yoga Class at Lansing Community Library by Yoga Shasta and Lifelong, beginning Monday, March 18th
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new Chair Yoga class at Lansing Community Library, organized by Yoga Shasta and Lifelong. This class provides an excellent opportunity to learn and practice yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Please come dressed in comfortable clothing that allows for a wide range of motion to facilitate the practice of yoga. There is a suggested donation of $5 for those who wish to attend the class.

Yoga Shasta: When Shasta first started practicing yoga, she didn’t realize it would become such an integral part of her journey. She completed her RYT-200 in 2018 with a firm commitment to instructing classes that are equitable and inclusive through a trauma-informed lens. In 2020, she became a Certified Accessible Yoga Teacher. With intentions of meeting people exactly where they are, Shasta has led yoga and mindfulness classes in partnership with organizations such as the Ithaca Youth Bureau, Hospice, NAMI Finger Lakes, Syracuse University Graduate School and Vida Asana School of Yoga in Costa Rica. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking and spending time with her sweet pup, Melo.
