June is here, and the Lansing Community Library is excited to celebrate the start of summer! This month, we’ll enjoy two special Story Times featuring some of our favorite parts of the season—ice cream and the beach.

Bring a beach towel and your favorite sunglasses as we dive into beach-themed stories, songs, and activities.
📚 Summer Reading Program Kickoff
Saturday, June 20 beginning at 10:30 AM
Summer Reading is back! Sign up starting at 10:30 AM and get ready for a summer filled with reading, prizes, and fun. Participants can check in each week with their reading logs to earn raffle tickets and prizes throughout the summer. Children who register at the kickoff will receive a T-shirt featuring this year’s winning Summer Reading artwork.
🤹 Special Performance: Hilby the German Juggle Boy

At 11:00 AM, stick around for a spectacular performance by Hilby the German Juggle Boy! With his quick wit, hilarious comedy, and incredible circus skills, Hilby delivers a one-of-a-kind show that will have audiences laughing and amazed. Get ready for plenty of entertainment, surprises, and jaw-dropping juggling feats!
Please note: Story Time will be on hiatus during the Summer Reading Program to make room for all of the exciting summer activities and special events we have planned. Be sure to check our calendar regularly so you don’t miss any of our summer programming!
