SUMMARY:SingSong Music Classes with Amy Puryear
DESCRIPTION:We’re thrilled to share that SingSong classes are back with Amy Puryear!\nSingSong is a delightful interactive musical experience for children and their parents or caregivers. Join us for a joyous gathering where we’ll sing, move, learn rhythms, clap, stomp, dance, and have a great time together. Our repertoire includes songs from various cultures, both familiar and new, and we’ll even explore singing in different languages like English and Spanish while also learning some American Sign Language (ASL).\nJoin us at the Lansing Library’s Community Room at 10:30 AM on the following Tuesdays:\nMarch 4, 11, 18, and 25 for our classes.\nAbout Amy:\nAmy has led SingSong Music classes for the past 15 years, beginning when her son Willoughby was a toddler. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in K-12 Music Education from Ithaca College in 1996 and has been teaching music to young children ever since – in many settings including in the classroom, at camps, festivals, workshops, locally and abroad. \nRegistration is now full for this program. \n
